Teacher Training – Mat I

Mat I Pilates Teacher Training – Starting October 18

Mat I introduces you to the history and principles of Pilates and covers the beginner and intermediate level exercises, including modifications. Pre-Pilates exercises are included for understanding the key principles of dynamic stability and functional core strength. Strategies for class sequencing and programming in a group setting are discussed. Guidelines for teaching mature populations and pre- and post-natal classes are reviewed.
