Mindfulness Stress Reduction - Information Night

Learn practical ways to manage stress. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an eight-week intensive structured group program that provides instruction in mindfulness meditation practices.
This educational program helps develop capacity for greater calm and teaches practical skills to manage stress. Research has demonstrated improved behavioral outcomes including better sleep, lower blood pressure, and fewer worries.

If you’re considering a mindfulness program, join us for a free information session! We’ll give you a brief overview on how best to learn mindfulness and what programs we offer for you to develop a practice. Mindfulness is a non-judgmental way of paying attention to the present moment. Practising mindfulness helps you enhance your mental health. Research on 8-week mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) shows it is beneficial for reducing stress, improving mood, and increasing focus.
