I spent 7 years as a professional synchronized swimmer for Cirque Du Soleil’s “O” show in Las Vegas and have been an elite athlete for over 20 years. Sport taught me about peak physical and mental conditioning, but it was in Las Vegas that I learned how to take care of my body, it was there Pilates became an integral part of my workout routine. Pilates has helped bring a level of awareness and physical support that allows me to enjoy all that life has to offer. I became a Pilates instructor to help teach others how to “add more life to their years” and show people the amazing power of the body as a self-healing vessel.
I think exercise should not only be purposeful, but enjoyable. I appreciate that people come to Pilates for a variety of reasons, and think that whatever an individual’s reason(s), Pilates can satisfy them all. I develop classes and personal training sessions that challenge the body, keep the mind engaged, and leave you feeling taller, stronger and more refreshed as you walk out the door.
