After some much-needed time away from the studio this summer, I’m feeling refreshed, recharged and very happy to be back! There’s something special about September—the return to familiar routines, reconnecting with our community and that feeling of a fresh start. Whether you’re getting back to your regular Pilates practice, returning after a summer break, or looking to try something new, I hope you’ll make movement part of your fall routine.
One of the highlights of our September calendar is the return of Jill’s popular ELDOA Workshop, in support of the Legacy of Hope Foundation as we mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. I’m grateful to Jill for bringing this special workshop back and creating an opportunity for our community to come together through movement while supporting Indigenous-led education and reconciliation. I hope you’ll join us for this meaningful event!
We’re also excited to celebrate the many newly trained and certified Pilates teachers coming out of Retrofit’s Teacher Training program this year. They’ve invested countless hours in their education, practice and teaching, and are heading out into the Pilates community with comprehensive knowledge, practical skills and a genuine passion for helping people move well. We’re proud to see our graduates sharing their expertise with clients and communities across the GTA and beyond—and contributing to the continued growth and evolution of Pilates.
Our Fall Teacher Training programs are also underway, and we’re looking forward to welcoming another group of aspiring teachers into the Retrofit community.
I can’t wait to return to the regular teaching schedule and move with you all this fall!
See you in class.
