Now that you have completed all Mat, and/or Reformer and/or Apparatus course work and hours, it is time to take the final written and practical exam to receive your certification from Balanced Body.

In-studio exam Includes:
60- minute online written exam – Students must bring their own device to write written exam online. The written exam tests your knowledge of applied anatomy, Balanced Body Principles, Pilates history, theory and exercises.
15-minute break
60-minute practical exam: Group A teaches Group B
15-minute break
60-minute practical exam: Group B teaches Group A
30 minutes results and feedback
In-studio candidates will be divided into two groups.
Each exam candidate in group A will teach a “student” from group B for the practical exam, and vice versa.
Online exam (remote via zoom link in portal) Includes:
60-minute practical exam. Online candidates must provide a “student” for their practical test and will teach in person from their own home or home studio.
15-minute break
60- minute online written exam.
Results and Feedback.
Practical test-out exercise list will be sent to candidates one week prior to the exam date.
Results and feedback will be emailed within seven days of the test-out.
STEP 1: Register with us and reserve your spot on the date and location you choose. Space is limited. Register now.
STEP 2: Use this link to submit your online application to Balanced Body at least 30-days prior to the test-out date. Be sure to include all required documentation.
Application must be submitted to Balanced Body a minimum of 30 days in advance of the test-out date.
STEP 3: Forward proof of approval from Balanced Body at least 10 days prior to the test date to barbara@retrofit.ca
