Reformer Teacher Training

Reformer 1: (in-studio attendance only)
This course introduces the Universal Reformer, the center piece of the Pilates equipment studio and an invaluable training tool. Reformer 1 includes an introduction to safely using the Pilates Reformer for a wide variety of supine, seated and standing exercises for the beginning to intermediate student. Movement Principles include improving lower body alignment, creating balanced muscle development and learning a protocol for effectively training the upper body. By the end of the course you will be able to teach beginning Reformer classes or personal training sessions.

Reformer 2: (in-studio attendance only)
Reformer 2 includes intermediate exercises and modifications designed for group an individual instruction. Teaching successful classes to clients at different levels of ability is emphasized, along with variations on sequences and progressing your class from the beginning to intermediate level.

Reformer 3: (in-studio attendance only)
Reformer 3 includes advanced exercises plus modifications for sports specific activities including dance, circus and gymnastics. Key exercise programing for advancing a client, plus tips for training the elite athletes are discussed.
